This translation is written with PSP17, if you work with older versions some things might be different but the result will be the same.

  • Mehdi - Sorting tiles
  • Two Moon - VerticalRipplie
  • Andromea - Perspective

 

Preparations:

  • Open all files in PSP, duplicate and close the originals. NOTE: If you are using different colors you might need to colorize some of the files.

From PSP 14, 15 AND 16 there is no option for Image - Mirror & Image -  Flip There is a new option but this does not give the same result except when the tube/image covers the whole image from side to side There is a easy way to add the old Mirror and Flip options to the Image Menu I have written a tutorial you can find it HERE. From PSP 17 the option is back

 

 

Colors:

Note: When working with your own colors, play with the Blend Mode and/or Opacity at your own discretion

  • Set your Foregroundcolor to #dad4d6

  • Set your Backgroundcolor to #454a4d

 

The tutorial:

Open a new transparent image of 800 x 500 px

Fill with the Backgroundcolor (Right Mouse Clcik)

Layers - New Raster Layer

Selections - Select All

Maximize Tube "82202165 Pfrom tray 

Note: If you are using a tube  of your own the result may be different, if you want the same result you can use this tube for this step. You can colorize it to match your work.

Edit - Copy

On your work image:  Edit - Paste Into Selection

Selections - Select None

Effects - Image Effects - Seamless Tiling - Default settings

Adjust - Blur - Radial Blur

Effects - Plugins - Mehdi - Sorting tiles

Effects - Edge Effects - Enhance

Layers - Merge - Merge all (Flatten)

Layers - Duplicate

Effects - Plugins - Two Moon - VerticalRipplie

Layer Palette - Double click on this Layer and set the Opacity of this Layer to 70

Layers - Merge - Merge Visible

Your work looks like this now:

Layers - New Raster Layer

Fill with the Foregroundcolor

Layers - New Mask Layer - From Image - Monaiekje mask 32 - Source luminance Checked - Invert mask data NOT checked

Layers - Merge - Merge Group

Effects - Plugins - Andromea - Perspective - Clcik on Presets, Next on "Side Walls" and look for the "Open Centered" preset - Click on the V and again in the Next screen on V

Effects - Image Effects - Offset

Layer Palette - Double click on this Layer and set the Blend Mode to "Overlay"

Maximize Tube "Dionne deco 1" from tray 

Edit - Copy

On your work image:  Edit - Paste As New Layer

Effects - Image Effects - Offset

Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen

Maximize Tube "Dionne deco 2" from tray 

Edit - Copy

On your work image:  Edit - Paste As New Layer

Effects - Image Effects - Offset

Layer Palette - Double click on this Layer and set the Blend Mode to "Overlay"

Edit - Copy

On your work image:  Edit - Paste As New Layer

Effects - Image Effects - Offset

Effects - Plugins - Mehdi - Sorting Tiles:

Layer Palette - Double click on this Layer and set the Blend Mode to "Overlay" and the Layer Opacity to 50

Layers - Merge - Merge Visible

Edit - Copy

Edit  - Paste as New Image, minimize to tray for now and go back to your work image

Maximize Tube "Dionne deco 4" from tray 

Edit - Copy

On your work image:  Edit - Paste As New Layer

Effects - Image Effects - Offset

Layers - New Raster Layer

Selection Tool - Rectangle - Custom Selection:   

Fill the Selection with the Foregroundcolor

Selections - Modify - Contract - 15 px

Edit - Cut (Or hit the Delete Key of your Keyboard)

Keep selected

Layers - New Raster Layer

Maximize the image you have set aside before.

Edit - Copy

On your work image:  Edit - Paste Into Selection

Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen

Selections - Select None

Layers - Arrange - Move Down

Layer Palette - Click on the Top Layer

Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow -  Vertical 2 - Horizontal 2 - Opacity 50 - Blur - 2 - Color - #000000

Layers - Merge - Merge Down

Effects - Image Effects - Offset

Maximize Tube "Frame hangers" from tray 

Edit - Copy

On your work image:  Edit - Paste As New Layer

Effects - Image Effects - Offset

Selections - Select All

Selections - Modify - Contract - 29 px

Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow -  Vertical 0 - Horizontal 0 - Opacity 80 - Blur - 25 - Color - #000000

Selections - Select None

Image - Add Borders - Symmetric checked  - 1 px - Backgroundcolor

Image - Add Borders - Symmetric checked  - 40 px - Foregroundcolor

Move like this:

Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen

Optional: Image - Resize - Width 900 Pixels - Resize all Layers checked

Add your name or watermark, save as JPG file and you're done!
