     ** Import into Filters Unlimited

 

Preparations:

  • Copy the Selections to the Selections folder of PSP
  • Copy the Texture to the Textures folder of PSP (This is a default PSP Texture so check first to avoid duplicate files)
  • Copy the User Defined Preset to the Presets folder of PSP
  • Open all other files in PSP, duplicate and minimize to tray, close the originals.

From PSP 14, 15 AND 16 there is no option for Image - Mirror & Image -  Flip There is a new option but this does not give the same result except when the tube/image covers the whole image from side to side There is an easy way to add the old Mirror and Flip options to the Image Menu, I have written a tutorial you can find it HERE. From PSP 17 the option is back

  • Set your Foregroundcolor to #f19a7f

  • Set your Backgroundcolor to #dd3c5e

Open a new transparent image of 1026 x 600 px

  Fill the Layer with the Gradient  

Effects - Plugins - Filters Unlimited - [AFS IMPORT] - MIRRBEVL

Selections - Load/Save - Load Selection From Disk - "vir_sel_casamance01"

Selections - Promote Selection to Layer

Keep Selected

Effects - Distortion Effects - Polar Coordinates

Effects - Texture Effects - Blinds - Color #E4CFB2

Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen

Effects - Plugins - Carolaine and Sensibility - cs_texture

Effects - Graphics Plus - Vertical Mirror

Effects - Plugins - Nik Software - Color Efex Pro - Bi Color Filters - Color Set 3 - no 3 or change to compliment your work

Selections - Select None

Selections - Load/Save - Load Selection From Disk - "vir_sel_casamance_cpol"

Edit - Cut   (or hit the Dlete key on your keyboard)

Selections - Select None

Layers - Duplicate

Effects - Plugins -Flaming Pear - Flexify2

Edit - Copy

Edit - Paste As New Image

Rename "Decoration" and save as a .psp file

On your main image:

Layer Palette: Delete the Top Layer (Copy of Promoted Selection)

Make sure the Promoted Selection Layer is active

Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow

Horizontal: 2, Vertical: 3, Opacity: 30, Blur: 30, Color: #000000

Materials Palette:  Change the Backgroundcolor to #9a944f 

Change the Foreground Gradient to these settings:

Layer Palette:  Click on the Bottom Layer (Raster 1)

Layers - New Raster Layer

Selections - Load/Save - Load Selection From Disk - "vir_sel_casamance02"

  Fill the Selection with the Gradient 

Keep Selected

Layers - New Mask Layer - From Image - "geometric11"

Layers - Merge - Merge Group

Selections - Invert

Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow

Horizontal: 2, Vertical: minus 5, Opacity: 40, Blur: 20, Color: #000000

Selections - Select None

Your work should look like this now:

On the same Layer:  Effects - Texture Effects - Texture -  Brick Wall (Corel_15_032)

Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen

Layers - Duplicate

Effects - Reflection Effects - Pattern

Layers - Arrange - Move Down

Layer Palette:  Change the Blend Mode to Overlay and lower the Opacity to 80

Effects - User Defined Filter - Preset - "5x5 Laplacian edge detection"

Note: If you have used different colors you may need to lower the Opacity to achieve the same effect

Layer Palette: Click on the Bottom Layer

Maximize "paysage_africain_vir" from tray

Edit - Copy

On your work image:  Edit - Paste - Paste As New Layer

Note: If you use a different mist here make sure it is the same size as the original (1400 x 422)

Effects - Image Effects - Offset

Your work looks like this now:

Change the Backgroundcolor to - #e2ccaf  

Image - Add Borders - Symmetric checked - 2px - Foregroundcolor   

Image - Add Borders - Symmetric checked - 20px - Backgroundcolor 

Image - Add Borders - Symmetric checked - 2px  - Foregroundcolor  

Image - Add Borders - Symmetric checked - 20px - #ffffff

On your work image:  Edit - Paste - Paste As New Layer

Effects - Image Effects - Seamless Tiling

Layer palette: Change the Blend Mode of this Layer to Overlay and lower the Opacity to 52

Layers - Duplicate

Image - Mirror - Mirror Horizontal  (Image - Mirror in older versions of PSP)

Layer Palette: Change the Blend Mode of this Layer to Luminance(Legacy)

Layers- Merge - Merge All Flatten

Add your name or watermark, save as JPG file and you're done!
