     ** Install into Filters Unlimited

 

Preparations:

  • Install the Font to the Fonts folder of Windows.
  • Open all other files in PSP, duplicate and minimize to tray. Close the originals. NOTE: If you are using different colors you might need to colorize some of the files.
     

From PSP 14, 15 AND 16 there is no option for Image - Mirror & Image -  Flip There is a new option but this does not give the same result except when the tube/image covers the whole image from side to side There is a easy way to add the old Mirror and Flip options to the Image Menu I have written a tutorial you can find it HERE. From PSP 17 the option is back

 

 

Colors:

       
#adb7c5 #687382 #ffffff #000000        

Note: When working with your own colors, play with the Blend Mode and/or Opacity at your own discretion

  • Set your Foregroundcolor to #adb7c5

  • Set your Backgroundcolor to #687382

Color Palette: Set your Foregroundcolor to Foreground/Background Gradient (Corel_06_029) - Style:Linear

 

 

 

The tutorial:

Open a new transparent image of 900 x 500 px

Fill the Layer with the Gradient

Selections - Select All

Maximize "Wooden hair-misted tube of A PSP Devil"

Edit - Copy

On your work image:  Edit - Paste - Paste Into Selection

Selections - Select None

Effects - Image Effects - Seamless Tiling - Default Settings

Adjust - Blur - Radial Blur

Effects - Distortion Effects - Twirl

Effects - Plugins - Filters Unlimited 2.0 - VM Extravaganza - Plastic Surgery

Effects - Art Media Effects - Brushstrokes

Maximize "Nicole-mist-etrange-2014"  from tray

Edit - Copy

On your work image:  Edit - Paste - Paste As New Layer

Move to the Right side of your work like this:

Layer Palette: Change the Blend Mode to Luminance and lower the Opacity to 75

Go Back to the tube "Wooden hair-misted tube of A PSP Devil"

Edit - Copy

On your work image:  Edit - Paste - Paste As New Layer

Place beteween the branches like this:

Layer Palette:  Change the Blend Mode  of this Layer to Soft Light

Edit - Paste - Paste As New Layer  (Image is still in memory)

Image - Mirror - Mirror Horizontal  (Image - Mirror in older versions of PSP)

Image - Resize - 70% - Resize All Layers - not checked

Move to the Left side of your work like this:

Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen

Text Tool (T)  Font: Harrington  Size: 36px  Color: #000000

Close the Foregroundcolor

Type the word "Narcisse"

Layer Palette: Right click and Convert to Raster Layer

Move below the branch like this:

Layers - Duplicate

Image - Mirror - Mirror Vertical

Move under the first Text Layer like this

Layer Palette: Change the Blend Mode of this Layer to Soft Light

Image - Add Borders - Symmetric checked - 1px - #687382  

Image - Add Borders - Symmetric checked - 10px - #ffffff       

Image - Add Borders - Symmetric checked - 2px -  #687382 

Image - Add Borders - Symmetric checked - 30px - #ffffff

Optional: Image - Resize - Width 900 Pixels - Resize all Layers checked

Add your name or watermark, save as JPG file and you're done!
