This tutorial is written by Ann January 25th, 2015 with a Dutch version of PSP X7
Any similarity to other tutorials is a coincidence

** Import into Filters Unlimited

 

Preparations:

  • Copy the Mask to the Masks folder of PSP
  • Copy the Selections to the Selections folder of PSP
  • Place the Picture Frame into the Picture Frames folder of PSP
  • Place the Brushes into the Brushes folder of PSP
  • Open all other files in PSP, duplicate and minimize to tray.Close the originals. NOTE: If you are using different colors you might need to colorize some of the files.
     

From PSP 14, 15 AND 16 there is no option for Image - Mirror & Image -  Flip There is a new option but this does not give the same result except when the tube/image covers the whole image from side to side There is a easy way to add the old Mirror and Flip options to the Image Menu I have written a tutorial you can find it HERE. From PSP 17 the option is back

NOTE: If you use your own images or tubes, make them the same size!!!

Note: When working with your own colors, play with the Blend Mode and/or Opacity at your own discretion

  • Set your Foregroundcolor to #b39684

  • Set your Backgroundcolor to #000000

Color Palette: Set your Foregroundcolor to Foreground/Background Gradient (Corel_06_029) - Style: Radial

Open a new transparent image of 900 x500 px

Fill the Layer with the Gradient

Effects - Distortion Effects - Pixelate

Layers - New Raster Layer
 
Materials Palette:  Change the Foreground Gradient back to Color - #b39684 
 
Fill the Layer with the Foregroundcolor 
 
Layers - Load/Save - Load Mask From Disk - "@nn_061113_mask_315_tdstudio"
 
 
Layers - Merge - Merge Group
 
Adjust - Hue and Saturation - Colorize: Hue: 25 - Saturation: 150

Tip: This Tool is not displayed on the Standard Toolbar. To make this permanently available go to:  View > Customize > Unused Commands
 
 
Drag the Icon with your mouse and drop it onto the Toolbar.  File > Workspace > Save > Save Workspace.
