  • Preparation
    Light color for the foreground, I took #fffece, dark color for the background, I took #4f4c00
    Material of the foreground - Prepare a foreground-background gradient with these settings:

    Feel free to change the opacity and blend mode from the layers if you work with different colors. You can colorize if necessary

    The lesson

  1. File - New - New image and choose the gradient :

  2. Effects - Texture Effects - straw:
    Color: background color #4f4c00

  3. Layers - new raster layer
  4. Foreground color = solid light color:

  5. Flood fill with light foreground color
  6. Layer palette - decrease opacity towards 30%, Blend mode: Normal

    Place brush as follows with the light foreground color
