    Install your filters


  • Preparation
    foreground color = WHITE,  background color: choose #484c4f donker or another  dark color

    Change the foreground color into texture and select my texture:

Attention, if you use different colors, feel free to change the opacity and/or the blend mode of the layers

  • The lesson
  1. Open a new image:
    File - New - new image: with the  background color (right click in the color and your recently used colors will appear):

  2. Layers - new raster layer
  3. Flood fill with the foreground color/texture
    You will obtain this result
  4. Adjust - sharpness - sharpen
  5. Layers - new raster layer
  6. Selections –load/save selection –load selection from disc and choose:
    @nn_180109_Selectie001_Lisanne_tdstudio
  7. Activate the image: roltrap.jpg
    Edit - copy
    Activate your tag, edit –paste into selection -- » keep the selection active
  8. Activate your layer palette, opacity: 70, blend mode: overlay
  9. Layers - new raster layer
  10. Selections - modify – select selection borders:
  11. Flood fill with your dark background color 3(right click with the mouse button to fill)
    Pay attention: match mode = none
  12. Selections -deselect
  13. Layers - new raster layer
  14. Effects - geometric effects- pentagon:
    color = white

  16. Activate your layer palette, opacity: 100, blend mode: soft light
  17. Activate the misted tube: @nn_170109_003_misted_woman_green_tdstudio_small.pspimage
    Edit - copy
    Activate your tag, edit - paste as a new layer

    you should have this result:

  21. Effects - plug-in - EC 5 impact - perspective shadow choose my preset  (click tab SETTINGS):

  33. Flood fill with your dark background color Donker
  34. Selections - modify - contract: 2 px
  35. Edit - wipe (or click delete on your keyboard)
  36. Flood fill  the selection with the foreground/texture

    PAY ATTENTION shadow on new layer CHECKED

  41. Image – free rotate:

    Pay attention shadow on new layer unchecked, same color
  44. close bottom layer but keep top layer active
  45. Layers - merge - merge layers visibly
  46. open bottom layer again but keep top layer active
  47. Activate the magic wand with settings shown below: (match mode = add)
  48. click in the middle:

  50. Effects - 3D effects - cutout with settings shown below:
    colour black
  51. Selections – deselect all
  52. Layers - new raster layer
  53. Activate the brush tool and choose the brush:
    @nn_2009_brush_Lisanne_000_tdstudio.PspBrush


    stamp as follows with the dark background color 6:
  54. Effects - plug-in - Fotomatic - skygrad with these settings:


  55. Effects - 3D effects - drop shadow:
    same color.
  56. Layer palette, opacity 65, blend mode: normal
  57. Layers - new raster layer
  58. Select  brush tool again and choose the brush:
    @nn_2009_brush_Lisanne_002_tdstudio.PspBrush


    Stamp as shown on the print screen below by using your dark background color:

    Stamp twice on the same place with the foreground/texture:

    The selection will become larger (due to the feather value) click DELETE to get the fade-away effect we want  to obtain-->> deselect

    Edit - copy and paste as an new layer on your tag
