This tutorial is written by Ann Jnauary, 2014 with a Dutch version of PSP X6 and adjusted by ASDwebdesigns with an English version of PSP X8

Plugins:

  • <I.C.NET Software> - Filters Unlimited 2.0 - Buttons & Frames

  • Vanderlee - Unplugged X
  • MuRa's Meister Copies

 

Preparations:

  • Open the Masks and Tubes in PSP, minmiize to tray NOTE: If you are using different colors you might need to colorize some of the files
  • Open the Brushes in PSP ( not the Brush Tips)and export as Custom Brush ( File - Export - Custom Brush) or copy them (include the brush tips) to the Brushes Folder of PSP
  • Copy the Selection files to the Selections folder of PSP
  • Copy the Frame to the Picture Frames folder of PSP

From PSP 14, 15 AND 16 there is no option for Image - Mirror - Mirror Horizontal ( Image - Mirror in previous PSP Versions) & Image -  Flip There is a new option but this does not give the same result except when the tube/image covers the whole image from side to side There is a easy way to add the old Mirror and Flip options to the Image Menu I have written a tutorial you can find it HERE. From PSP 17 the option is back

NOTE: If you use your own images or tubes, make them the same size!!!

  • Set your Foregroundcolor to #feba9c

  • Set your Backgroundcolor to #6d0d0d

Color Palette: Set your Foregroundcolor to Foreground/Background Gradient (Corel_06_029) - Style: Radial

Open a new transparent image of 900 x 500 px

Fill with the Gradient

Effects - Plugins - <I.C.NET Software> - Filters Unlimited 2.0 - Buttons & Frames - 3D Glass Frame 2

Layers - Duplicate

Effects - Plugins - Mock - Bevel

Your work looks like this now:

Adjust - Sharpness - High-Pass Sharpen

Maximize Tube "@nn_180114_misted-2020-rosen+necklace_tdstudio.pspimage" from tray 

Edit - Copy

On your work image:  Edit - Paste As New Layer

No need to move

Layers - New Raster Layer

Selections - Load/Save Selection - Load Selection From Disk -  @nn_180114_Selectie_001_Franceska_tdstudio.PspSelection

Fill the Selection with the Foregroundcolor

Selections - Select None

Effects - Reflection Effects - Feedback

Effects - Reflection Effects - Rotating Mirror

Effects - Plugins - It@lian Editors Effect - Effetto Fantasma - Sposta- X 20 - Sposta Y 20

Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen More

Layer Palette - Double click on this Layer and set the Opacity of this Layer to 70

Adjust - Blur - Gaussian Blur: Radius: 12

Layer Palette - Double click on this Layer and set the Opacity of this Layer to 70

Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow -  Vertical 0 - Horizontal Minus 12 - Opacity 25 - Blur - 25  - Color - #000000

Layers - Merge - Merge all (Flatten)

Add your name or watermark, save as JPG file and you're done!
