Plugins:

  • Mura's Meister - copies:
  • Penta.com - Dot and cross
  • Unlimited 2.0:
  • Neology - Vasarely Mosaic
  • Richard Rosenman - solid border

 

Preparations: None needed.

TIP: play with the opacity of the layer and the blend mode Try other colors. Use a ColorShemer if

needed to find matching colors.

 

The lesson:


  1. Activate the background @nn_170409_bg_maylin_SB2_tdstudio.jpg

  2. Shift + d, close the original – proceed with the copy

  3. Activate the file: @nn_170409_bg_sketcher_SB2_tdstudio.jpg

  4. Edit - copy

  5. Activate your working area. Edit - paste as a new layer

  6. Activate the layer palette:


  7. Activate the image: maylin.jpg

  8. Layers – load mask from disk and select the 2020 mask:

  9. Layers - merge - merge group

  10. This image (edit with 2020), edit - copy

  11. Activate your working area, edit - paste as a new layer

  12. Activate the layer palette:

  13. Layers - merge - merge all layers

  14. Layers - duplicate

  15. Effects - plug-in - Neology - Vasarely mosaic:


  16. Selections –load/save selection- load selection from disk and choose:

    @nn_180409_Selection001_Maylin_tdstudio

  17. Edit - delete

  18. Selections - deselect all

  19. Effects - 3D Effects - drop shadow with settings shown below:

  20. Activate the selection tool -: custom selection

    with these settings:


  21. Selections – promote selection to layer

  22. Selections - deselect all

  23. Effects - reflection Effects - rotating mirror:

  24. Activate the layer palette:


  25. Layers - new raster layer

  26. Foreground color = white

  27. Activate the brush tool and choose: @nn_brush_SF_500_tdstudio

  28. Place as follows:


  29. Activate the layer palette, opacity of the layer: 100, blend mode: Dodge

  30. Layers - new raster layer

  31. Again brush tool and choose file: @nn_wasco_500_1348


  32. Place as follows:

  33. layer palette: opacity of the layer: 100, blend mode: Dodge

  34. Activate the PSP image file: @nn_180409_tekst_Maylin_SB2_tdstudio.pspimage Edit - copy

  35. Activate your working area, edit - paste as a new layer and move a little:

  36. Activate the layer palette, opacity of the layer: 100, blend mode: Dodge

  37. Layers - merge - merge all layers

  38. Activate the freehand selection tool with settings shown below (point to point – add – feather):


  39. Select this part:

    Close the selection (the area becomes larger due to feather 40)

  40. The result must be similar to this one

  1. Effects - plug-in - Penta.com - Dot and cross with settings shown below:

  2. Selections - deselect all (blur will be just on one part of the image)


  3. Selections - select all

  4. Selections - modify - contract 25 px

  5. Selections - invert

  6. Selections – promote selection to layer

  7. Selections - deselect all

  8. Effects - plug-in - Mura's Meister - Copies:

    COLOR: BLACK

  9. Activate the layer palette: opacity of the layer: 100, blend mode: Hard light

  10. Effects - 3D Effects - drop shadow with settings shown below

    COLOR: WHITE


  11. Lock FG color and BG color = white

  12. Activate text tool with settings shown below:


  13. write a text of your choice

  14. Effects - 3D Effects - drop shadow:

    COLOR: BLACK


  15. Move your text if necessary

  16. Layers - merge - merge all layers

  17. Effects - plug-in - Unlimited 2.0 - Buttons & Frames - Mirrored frame:

  18. Effects - plug-in - Richard Rosenman - solid Border:

COLOR: WHITE
